Teige Gruppen establishes own brand

Teige Gruppen launches Tricent AS, a new company focused on the development and distribution of specialized deck coatings for the maritime industry and industry. Tricent represents a strategic focus on its own brand and product development, with the goal of providing robust, user-friendly and cost-effective solutions for demanding surfaces such as ferry decks and factory floors.‍

Tricent has signed an exclusive cooperation agreement with Gjøco AS, which will produce a new series of deck coatings under the Tricent name. The products have been developed in close collaboration and tested in real environments with proven high wear resistance and ease of application.

Tricent is a response to a need we have seen over many years in the maritime market. Building on the solid market knowledge and experience we have gained through Westing, this puts us in a unique position to develop products tailored to demanding conditions. With control over the entire value chain and an exclusive agreement with Gjøco, we are strongly equipped to compete both on quality, price and delivery security both nationally and internationally.

Tricent has acquired global distribution rights for the marine market, and will offer solutions specifically adapted to ferries and car decks, trawlers and fishing vessels as well as land-based factories and warehouses.

Westing, which is also part of the Teige Group, has signed an agreement with Tricent on the sale and promotion of the company's products.
