With roots dating back more than a hundred years, Teige Gruppen operates both land-based and sea-based businesses.
Teige Gruppen owns and operates in several business segments, including fisheries, shipping, healthcare, trade and real estate. Today, the land-based businesses are organized through the holding company Kaston AS, while the sea-based activities are collected under Sansibar AS.
The group currently consists of a number of companies and has approximately 200 employees. The head office is located in Herøy, but is to be moved to Hareid by the end of 2025.
Teige Rederi owns and operates MS Sunny Lady which is a combined trawler and ring-net vessel with quotas on pelagic fisheries.
The trading segment of the Teige Group comprises sales, distribution, trade, commercial activities and own-brand businesses.
Teige Gruppen manages an extensive and strategically located property portfolio, with the majority in Ålesund and Herøy municipalities.
