Led by Westing and Zewo Chemicals, Teige Gruppen's trading division continues its strong performance. The trading segment increased its revenue from NOK 140 million in 2024 to approximately NOK 160 million in 2025, representing a growth of 15 percent. The division's annual profit was approximately NOK 13 million in 2025.
In recent years, the trading business has taken on an increasingly important role within Teige Gruppen and now accounts for a significant portion of the group's total activity. This development is the result of long-term efforts to build expertise, further develop the organizations, and invest in modern digital tools and work processes. At the same time, the companies have strengthened their ability to meet customer needs through high professional competence, flexibility, and market proximity.
An important milestone in this development has been the co-location and investment in Hareid. The move has brought together Westing, Zewo Chemicals, and the logistics and support functions of Teige Service & Logistikk (TSL), creating a stronger professional environment with better conditions for collaboration, efficient operations, and the recruitment of new talent.
Group CEO Sigurd Teige continues to see significant opportunities in trading and has ambitions for further growth in the years to come:
– We have built a strong platform for further development through investments in expertise, digital solutions, and cross-company collaboration. The co-location in Hareid has strengthened both our professional environment and our execution capabilities, while also providing us with better conditions for recruitment and further growth. We still see significant potential in the market and have clear ambitions to further develop our trading operations in the years ahead, says Teige.
